EDITORIAL: LEIGHTON FOR NYLON

Leighton Meester, Nylon

Nylon is one of my favorite magazines, because it’s graphically beautiful and stands out from the rest. Which is a hard thing to do in a world where there’s a thousand different magazines. So when one of my favorite actresses got the cover of their November edition, of course I had to check it out.

And I wasn’t disappointed. Though these photos aren’t the style I usually favorite, I do love these photos. And the faux fur coat she’s wearing on the cover. What else do we see? A crazy pattern on a knitted sweater that could very well be from the eighties, denim mixed with a fancy coat and some leopard print.

Can you feel my enthusiasm? Also, I love the tiny drawings all over the place. Even though the article is about Leighton going more serious after her role in Gossip Girl, those drawings make it a playful article I’d start to read once I laid my eyes upon it.
