Remember those McDonalds looking logos on sweaters, purses and iPhone cases? That was Moschino‘s collection for this winter. I guess it’s not supposed to be a surprise that the next collection Jeremy Scott designed for them, is pretty extravagant too. There was a giant plastic pink comb included in the invitation after all.

Yet, this is quite surprising. The spring 2015 collection is inspired by Barbie. Meaning it contains outfits that could be worn by the kids doll herself if you ask me. Pink being the code word of course. Combined with huge platinum blond hair, bright pink lipstick and other items like miniskirts and tiny little jackets that remind me of the good old days.

This is what designer Jeremy Scott said to afterwards: “Like every girl and gay boy, I loved Barbie. It’s hard not to; she’s practically perfect.” So why not create a whole collection of Barbie stuff indeed? I’m not really a pink kinda girl so the clothes do not enthusiast me as much, I do love the roller-skating model though.
